Phagosept is a paratherapeutic agent and is used as a biological agent against diarrhea, intestinal inflammation and infections, anti-diarrheal microorganisms.
The enterobacteriophage contained in Phagosept destroys pathogenic microbes that cause infection, and live yeast cells have antimicrobial and antitoxic effects. The drug stimulates the secretion of immunoglobulin IgA in the intestines, thereby increasing the antimicrobial status of the body, stimulating the synthesis of B vitamins in the body. Phagosept prevents the spread of various pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microbes in the human body, the formation of inflammatory foci, increases the non-specific resident of the body, cleanses the body, increases immunity, regulates metabolism.
Phagosept is used as a prophylactic and supportive agent for the normalization of intestinal microflora in the following conditions: acute and chronic gastroenterocolitis, salmonellosis, dysentery, intestinal dysfunction, diarrhea and constipation.
It is not a medicinal product and does not contain genetically modified organisms.
Directions for use:
Take after meals, for children one tablet 2 or 1 time per day, and for adults one tablet 3 times per day.
Duration of administration varies from 14 to 21 days, depending on the general condition.
Dosage in children:
Children under 2 years old - one tablet is dissolved (complete dissolution period is 5 minutes) in lukewarm boiled water or breast milk; taken once or twice a day after meals.
Children from 2 years old - one tablet is taken twice or once a day after meals.
Overdose: No cases of overdose have been described.
