Inflammatory processes of the conjunctiva, cornea, eyeball, as well as allergic conjunctivitis, keratitis, iritis, cyclitis.
Some eye diseases: non-purulent conjunctivitis including seasonal-allergic, catarrhal; Thermal and chemical burns.
To suppress the inflammatory reaction in the postoperative period.
Rules and dosage:
Topically 1-2 drops.
In case of the acute inflammatory process:
Every 30-60 minutes, the frequency of drops decreases every 2-4 hours as the condition improves. 3-4 times a day thereafter if this is enough to reduce inflammation.
If a positive result is not achieved after 3-4 days, additional systemic or local treatment is possible.
At the time of chronic local processes:
1-2 drops every 3-6 hours.
During the allergies:
1-2 drops every 3-4 hours until the desired effect is achieved.
The ointment is applied to the lower eyelid 4 times a day.
Side effects:
Prolonged topical use of steroids may cause an increase in intraocular pressure in some patients, which is why regular intraocular pressure measurement is recommended.
Contraindications :
Herpes simplex, a number of other viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva, tuberculosis of the eye, fungal diseases of the eye, acute purulent diseases.
Special instructions :
Warning: Intensive and long-term corticosteroid therapy may lead to the development of cataracts.
Safety measures:
The treatment of the inflammatory process, if not chatskhroma, should be appointed to other types of treatment. Rarely, patients may experience hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, in which case treatment should be discontinued.
